Hyundai Genesis Coupe sales
The 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe has been one of the most anticipated cars that hit the US ground lately. With its attractive powertrain options and an array of performance features, the model was expected to be in great demand and early sales report from Hyundai certainly confirms that.
The two-door Genesis Coupe has been selling extremely well since its market launch about two weeks ago. Traditionally, two-door coupes sell in much lower numbers than their four-door siblings, but according to John Krafick - CEO of Hyundai Motor America, the Genesis Coupe has managed to outsell its four door sibling model (Genesis sedan).
In a recent interview, published in the latest issue of the popular Motor Trend Magazine, John Krafcik reveals early sales of Genesis Coupe has been “simply smoking”. Furthermore and unexpectedly, its sales have been hooter than that of the four-door sedan despite the fact that Hyundai spent less money for its advertising!
Hyundai Genesis Coupe comes available with two powertrain options, but at the moment only 3.8L V6 variant is available at the dealers, while the 2.0L turbo has still been making its way into Hyundai showrooms. Once enough 2.0L turbo models make their way into the showrooms, Hyundai shold be seeing even more customers with sales volumes picking up. [Source: Motor Trend]
